Two solo difficulty modes define how much information you have when drafting. Multiplayer and Daily Challenge add competitive layers on top.
Classic
Recommended for beginnersEvery player displays an overall rating (e.g. Pelé 1970 = 99). Draft decisions are data-driven — always pick the highest-rated player who fits your open positions. Ideal for learning formations and understanding squad strength.
- Prioritise S-tier players whenever they appear
- Check your squad average after each pick
- Use wildcards when a team offers no player above 82
Almanac (From Memory)
Expert challengeRatings are hidden. You must rely on real football history to identify stars. Brazil 1970 means Pelé, Jairzinho, and Carlos Alberto — but obscure squads like Paraguay 2010 require genuine knowledge of who actually started.
- Learn iconic World Cup squads before attempting Almanac mode
- Goalkeepers and centre-backs from top nations are usually safe picks
- Memorise which tournaments had historically weak rosters
Daily Challenge
Every day the game sets shared draft conditions. All players face the same puzzle — perfect for comparing runs on social media.
With Friends (Multiplayer)
Local two-player on one device, online Cup Final head-to-head, or a Full Cup bracket for 4–16 human and CPU players.
